Safari Highlights
Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park, Lake Mburo National Park for a walking safari experience, Kenya’s popular Masai Mara National Reserve for a memorable wildlife encounter, and Zanzibar’s great beaches.

The tour starts in Entebbe at your lodge or hotel and ends in Zazibar at Zanzibar Airport.

Our first adventure will be gorilla trekking in the misty jungles Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Bwindi Forest is the best place in Uganda to track mountain gorillas. The park protects half the world’s population and has several habituated groups. The forest is also a bird-watcher’s paradise with 350 species recorded, including many Albertine Rift endemics.

After that unmatchable gorilla adventure in Bwindi, we’ll proceed to Lake Mburo National park for a walking safari. This scenic little park, close to Bwindi, is home to several wildlife species not easily seen elsewhere in Uganda. These include – Rothschild’s giraffe, Burchell’s zebra and impala. Although elephants are absent from the park, there is plenty of other wildlife to see. This is the only park in Uganda where people can view savanna animals on foot, from a mountain bike, horseback and in a vehicle.

From Lake Mburo, we head back to Entebbe to catch a flight to Nairobi – Kenya where we’ll join our guides on our second adventure in the famous Savannah park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Situated Southwest of Kenya, covering an area of 1 510 square km, the Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife, and endless plains. The quintessential Masai Mara safari delivers many attractions and is home to an excellent year-round concentration of game as well as the two million animals that make up the Great Migration.

We’ll seal this adventure with a tour to Zanzibar, a walking tour around Historical Stone Town, taking you through fabled Stone Town, where history seems to stand still. We’ll visit the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace) and the Arab Fort amongst others, which will reveal to you the charm of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding passageways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless antique mosques among others. From here we’ll drive to Nungwi.
