Day One - Arrival
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you’re picked up by our driver/guide and transferred to Kampala city where you will spend the night. Depending on your time of arrival, we will take you for a city tour and also get you oriented with Ugandan money and culture. Arrivals on Sunday morning or early afternoon can allow for a cultural dance and drum extravaganza in the evening.

Day Two - Orientation
Today we will visit the city mall to acquire local currency and make all necessary shopping for all necessary items. We will then drive out of Kampala to our village destination east of Uganda and spend our first night in Mbale town.

Day Three
After breakfast head out to the building site at Bwagogo village. Receive orientation on arrival and the hard work begins.

Day Four - Bwagogo
Have an evening village walk before dinner to see the local homesteads and meet the local people and learn about their culture and how people cook, work and entertain themselves.

Day Five - Bwagogo
After today’s work we visit a local market in the evening to experience how trade locally takes place and buy some groceries for ourselves for a firsthand experience.

Day Six - Bwagogo
Building in the morning and a relaxed afternoon to drive to the beautiful hills of Bududa.

Day Nine - Bwagogo – Sipi
After a relaxed breakfast do the last work possible on the building and have it dedicated and thereafter head to Sipi Falls. This is a series of falls right on the edge of Mount Elgon an extinct volcano towering to 4,321 meters (14,177 ft.) above sea level. This is an ideal place to relax and meditate. Today we will take a walk through the village to the bottom of Sipi falls. If interested, one could go abseiling off the cliff right at the falls.

Day Ten - Sipi – Mbale
Wake up for a relaxed breakfast and thereafter visit the village community in Sipi area to experience the process of making coffee and have a locally made cup of coffee before transferring to Mbale to have lunch at Mbale Resort and go swimming in the afternoon.

Day Eleven - Mbale -Kampala
After breakfast drive to Jinja where we will have lunch and visit the source of the river Nile before heading to Kampala.

Day Twelve - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart Kampala after breakfast driving southwest; the drive today takes you across the imaginary equator line, through beautiful highlands and tea estates with a lunch stop in Mbarara. The drive today including all stops will be approximately 8 hours. When we arrive the park we will check in at our accommodation, and then take an evening game drive.

Day Thirteen - Game drive, boat cruise
We will be up early today, depart at 0630am for a morning game drive. This morning we aim to catch the big cats i.e. lions as they hunt or feed on their morning kill. Lions mostly hunt as the day dawns in because the temperatures are cooler and more hunting-friendly for the king of the jungle. Other sights to expect are hyenas before they disappear into the thickets, Cape buffalo, the handsome Uganda kob, warthog, elephant, leopard, and waterbuck. Return to our overnight Lodge/camp for late breakfast and lunch. Right after lunch, we will drive to Mweya to take a cruise on the Kazinga channel. Queen Elizabeth National Park boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game reserve in the world and this afternoon boat ride confirms it well.

Day Fourteen
After an early breakfast leave the lodge/Camp and drive to the Kyambura gorge for a primate walk. A walk in the forest here allows for sights of chimpanzees, black & white colobus monkey, velvet monkey, olive baboon and the occasional leopard. After the primate walk, we drive to Kampala with lunch en route.

Day Fifteen - Souvenir shopping
Today is a shopping day; we will take you to the craft markets where you can buy African drums and all other types of African souvenirs.

Day Sixteen - Day of departure
Possible activities today are; a city tour including the local markets, the taxi park and more souvenir markets. Transfer to the airport for evening flight out.

Transportation
By Road (4×4 Custom Safari vehicle), it will take you around 5hours from Kampala with about 305 km. Paara covers a distance of about 85km from Masindi town by the shortest route.
